Maternity - Babies and Bellies
Thank you for considering Edgeton Photography to create your maternity session. We consider it a privilege to be able to share this exciting time in your life with you, and to take part in memorializing the thrill of being pregnant and bringing a new life to the world!
First, we will decide on a location where you feel most comfortable. Some ladies prefer the comfort and privacy of their own home; some prefer a studio for a more formal vibe; and some are open to doing the photo shoot outdoors. We prefer using natural light whenever possible, to give a more natural feel to the photos.
The best time to schedule a maternity photo shoot is when the belly is large -- typically in the 7th and 8th months. If you are a first-time mother, you could more comfortably choose a date in month 8. If you have already had a child, then we’d be safe and schedule your session in the 7th month.

When you purchase the digital negatives, you receive the images on a disc, plus a written copyright release that gives you permission to use the images for certain purposes, such as making prints or other photo products, posting on a website, or for personal use. The release is specific to the person or persons purchasing the digital negatives only, and cannot be duplicated for others' use.
